GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Yearbooks: Order your EHS yearbook by August 27th and save! Yearbooks are $45 through August 27th.  After that date, the price goes up to $55. To order your yearbook, go to jostensyearbooks.com or call 1-877-767-5217.

Check Out Library Books–no need to wait for the media center to re-open. Fill out this form to get library books delivered to you in your homeroom.  https://forms.gle/8gV4cDCkK5oau7kSA

Chromebooks: Students new to RBB will need to get a chromebook assigned to them. Please see Mrs. Johnson in the office to pick one up or add your name to the waiting list if all are gone. More to arrive soon.

Students who have Chromebook issues should email RBB tech support at itsupport@rbbschools.net. 

Student Drivers: All students who plan to drive to school must have a completed Parking Permit Registration on file with the school even if the car has been previously registered by another EHS student/sibling and already has a parking tag. Every car in the student parking lot must be registered to the current driver.

  • Students who have registered as drivers in a previous year and have not changed vehicles are not required to register again.
  • After you have filled out the form, bring your driver’s license and $1 cash to Mrs. Johnson in the school office during the first week of school to receive your sticker.

Freshmen: If you attended the Freshmen Orientation and did not get a chance to pick up a shirt, please stop by Mrs. Boisvert-Storey’s room (E117) during your passing period, homeroom, or lunches to get one. They are first come first served so be aware that the remaining sizes may go fast!

STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Mural painting interest meeting this Wednesday (8/18)!
We are looking for students to help paint our coffee house mural in the new media center. If you have interest in helping paint or being involved in the coffee house please come to our interest meeting on 8/18 from 2:30-3:00 pm in Ms. Kingsley’s art room (A106). Please email Ms. Kingsley if you have any questions or if you are interested but cannot attend this meeting. Akingsley@rbbschools.net

National Honor Society is meeting on Thursday, August 19 at 7:00 AM in the Auditorium.

Wrestling: Conditioning starts soon! We are looking for people with ANY level of experience. Girls wrestling is on the rise too (and will only wrestle girls soon!). So any boys or girls that want to be their toughest this year, please FILL OUT this I’M KIND OF INTERESTED FORM  Thanks, Coach Ratliff

Boys Basketball: Any boy interested in playing basketball this year needs to complete the google form that was sent to their email by Coach Wadsworth.

For anyone not in a fall sport, basketball workouts will begin after school on Monday, August 23rd. Monday’s workout will last until 4:30.  Players will be able to change in the boys’ basketball locker room, which is located in the back hallway by the weight room. Players need to bring a shirt, shorts, and basketball shoes to workout in. Parents can pick up players at Door 4.

This week anyone with questions needs to stop by E126 to see Coach Wadsworth, the boys’ varsity basketball coach.

BBQ Competition Team: Do you like BBQ? Do you like to compete? Then you need to think about joining the EHS BBQ Competition Team. Please see Mr. Winkler in room F121 for more information.

Student Council: Are you interested in joining our school’s student council? Come to our call-out meeting on Wednesday, August 18th after school in Mrs. Boisvert-Storey’s Room (E117). We will be discussing Homecoming, service projects, and more! If you want to get involved and make some great friends along the way, come to the meeting! We hope to see you there!

Auditions for CURTAINSthe musical comedy who-dunit will take place in the EHS Auditorium at the following times:

  • Tuesday, August 24 (6:00-8:00)
  • Wednesday, August 25 (6:00-8:00)
  • Thursday, August 26 (2:45-5:00)

Performances will be November 12, 13, 19, & 20

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

Students who would like to request to see their counselor, should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email.

EXTENDED OPPORTUNITIES

The Monroe County Youth Council (MCYC) is looking for more representation. The Monroe County Youth Council is comprised of volunteer leaders from all of the Monroe County high schools. It gives students the opportunity to have a voice in our local government. It also plans various activities for local youth. One of the most popular activities they plan is the Global Youth Service Day. Join fellow youth who want to better our community through leadership and service.
