International Student Host Families Needed: Would you like to HOST an international student in your home?  We’re looking for host families for some students arriving in August 2023.  CIEE Host Families come in all shapes and sizes!  And many host families find they develop a relationship that lasts a lifetime!  Please click on the attachments here and here to find out more information and/or ask Mrs. Clay in Room E 149.

Sign-ups for the blood drive will be during lunches on Mondays, Tuesday, and Fridays in all three lunches from January 23rd to February 3rd. *There is a change to Student Driver Registration: All students who plan to drive to school must have a Parking Permit Registration on file with the school even if the car has been previously registered by another EHS student/sibling and already has a parking tag. Every car in the student parking lot must be registered to the current driver. Parents can find and fill out this form in Harmony Family Access with the registration paperwork. Any student who has already received a tag for a car registered to them after filling out the old Google Form, does not need to redo the form in Harmony.

  • Students who have registered as drivers in a previous year and have not changed vehicles are not required to register again.
  • After you have filled out the form in Harmony, bring your driver’s license and $1 cash to Mrs. Johnson in the school office ASAP to receive your sticker.

All EHS students are welcome to attend this fun event in the library on Friday, February 3, after school from 2:30-3:30.

Book Club Selection: Five Total Strangers, by Natalie D. Richards, is a thriller about five strangers traveling together in a blizzard, one of them with a sinister plot to make the ride end in disaster. Books are available now to check out in the library.

Jam Session: Did you attend the Holiday Music Fest in the library in December and enjoy the live music at lunch? We’re doing the same type of event on Wednesday, February 8. We’d love to have musicians and singers again to perform background music while students eat lunch. You do not need to be a member of choir or band to participate. All are welcome! See Mrs. Van Allen ASAP to sign up to perform.
