The Cross Country team competed this weekend at the Indian Creek Invitational. The girl’s team came in 2nd overall within 1 point of Jackson Creek, who came in first. Sophia Mobley, Nerissa Zelhoff-Arriaga, Greta Vagedes, and Josephine Buckley finished in the top 10. The boy’s team came in 3rd overall with Davin Norris, AJ Norris, and Josh Bryce all finishing in the top 10. Of the six female runners who ran a PR, Adrianna Minnick improved her time by nearly 3 minutes! The boy’s team had 15 runners who ran a PR. Oliver Gough saw the greatest improvement, cutting down his time also by 3 minutes! Well done, runners!
Mini Warehouse is looking for any 7th and 8th grade boys interested in show choir. If you are interested stop by Mrs. Campbell’s room 204 or send her an email at kcampbell@rbbschools.net on or before next Tuesday (8/23).
Fall Sports Spirit Days – Students, you can support our teams by wearing the suggested attire to school to show school spirit. Any EJHS student that wears that day’s spirit wear to the game, will get free admission. Use the link to see the full spirit day calendar for the fall sports.

Horsepower– Edgewood Junior High School’s very own weight lifting club will be every Friday right after school until 4 pm unless otherwise notified.
RBBCSC – Chromebook Protection Plan – Opt-in: Be on the lookout for an email that was sent out recently about the new opt-in protection plan for only $33.00 for a whole school year! Coverage begins on the first day of school and ends July 1st the following year. Sign-up is easy. Just go to K-12 Tech’s Edgewood School Sign Up page, fill out the form, and submit a payment via credit/debit card. Details for what is and isn’t covered can be found on this site as well. Coming soon to Edgewood Junior High! Our 2nd Annual Pumpkinfest will be held on October 29th, so mark your calendars! The night will include a trunk or treat, pumpkin walk, pumpkin derby, and more! There will be multiple opportunities to grab a snack along the way. More details to come.
