The 6th grade boys basketball team traveled to WRV Monday night, both teams came away with a win. The B game was a 2 qtr game and the boys played well both quarters, scoring 11 each quarter.  Leading this group was Brayton Adair with 5, Sturgis with 3, and then Keller, Garrett, White, Williamson, Collins, Dixon, and Newton all had 2. The A game started off with amazing energy, ending the first 20-2, and winning the second 14-8.  3rd quarter was a bit shaky only scoring 6 but with a huge lead, the game was never in any danger.  All players from both teams got some playing time in the 4th as Edgewood coasted to a 49-32 win.

Last night the boys traveled to Brown County and again both teams came out with the W.  B game started slow as they scored 14 in the first half, but came out with a purpose in the second scoring 27.  Leading the charge was Jesse Dixon with 11, Sturgis with 10, Garrett with 5, Williamson and Adair with 4 each, Collins, White, and Drewes added 2 and Keller had 1, all players scored. The A game started where the B team left off, a hot first half gave Edgewood a 35-14 first-half lead, even with two starters in foul trouble for most of the second quarter.  2nd half the boys never let off the gas, cruising to a 51-26 win.  Zane Powell led the scoring with 16, Druckrey and Dixon both had 10, with Druckrey dropping dimes for over half the points scored, and easily had a double-double, Goerges added 8, Myers 4, and Figg with 3.  The boys will prepare for their last games of the season for the OV invitational on the 25th. These games will be played at Spencer elementary for anyone interested in supporting them. Any student ages 17 and under will have free entry into the tournament.
