Tomorrow, in honor of “Two’sDay”, Mrs. Beeman’s homeroom is hosting twins day. On twins day you will dress up as a twin with someone else for the whole day. Twins must follow the school dress code!

Congratulations to our junior high members of the Edgewood Indoor Percussion Ensemble who placed third out of ten this weekend at the Noblesville percussion contest.

English Academic Super Bowl will meet today after school from 2:30 to 3:30 in Mr. Anspaugh’s room.

Academic Super Bowl Science is canceled for this week.

There will be an optional robotics practice today from 2:30 pm until 5 pm in Room 221.

Baking Club does not meet this week.

The 7th-grade girls’ basketball team played in the WIC over the weekend. In the first round, they faced Cloverdale and came away with the win. The final score was 38-9. Scorers of the game were Leia Frye with 16 points, Rilynn Williams with 8 points, Brylee Moore with 6 points, and Lillian DeSalle, Khaliya Francke, Bella May, and Sydney Austin each with 2 points. In the second round, they faced a tough Indian Creek team and lost with a final score of 54-20. Scorers of the game were Rilynn Williams with 7 points, Brylee Moore and Khaliya Francke each with 4 points, Sydney Austin and Leia Frye each with 2 points, and Bella May with 1 point.

Congratulations to the 8th-grade girls’ basketball team for winning the WIC east championship this past Saturday! In the first game, Edgewood defeated Indian Creek 52-39. Macey Crider scored 21 points, Madison Bland 19 points, Allison Bland 5 points, Addison Yearby 4 points, and Ava Laroche 3 points. In the second game, Edgewood beat Brown County 45-32. Madison Bland had 18 points, Macey Crider 13 points, Allison Bland 7 points Addison Yearby 4 points, and Kyleigh Murphy 3 points. Way to go girls!
