Do your parents collect Box Tops for Education? Ask your friends and family to save any Box Tops they can find. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents and helps support our school by providing extra funds. Bring any Box Tops you collect to the library before February 12th!!
VAL-A-GRAMS ARE COMING!!!
The EJHS library is sponsoring the sale of Val-a-grams. Next week, February 8th – 12th, students and staff may purchase a Val-a-gram to send to other students and staff here at our school. A Val-a-gram is a message slip with a Blow Pop or Tootsie Pop attached. The message slips will be on sale for only 50 cents before school, during lunch/homeroom, and immediately after school. On Friday, February 12th, the messages will be delivered to homerooms! So remember, next week, be sure you bring extra quarters to school so you may send yourself or a friend a Val-a-gram!!

The 7th-Grade Girls’ basketball team fell to 3-1 in a 29-36 loss to BNL last night. Macey Crider had 14 points and Reyanna Dryer had 9 points. The 8th-Graders improved to 2-1 with a 33-22 win. The Olivia’s and Ayrica held down the paint against two 6-foot girls, Makalynn Roofe led all scorers with 20 points, Carly Collier had 4 points, and Madison Daniel took care of the ball, scored 9 points, and hit 4 free throws down the stretch to seal the victory. Congrats!
The 8th-grade boys’ basketball team finished their season Wednesday night beating White River Valley 55-27. Owen McGovern got the Colts off to a hot start, scoring 8 points in the first quarter. Kamren Ranard and Aaron Murphy did a great job scoring the ball around the basket in the second half. Will Lawson led all scorers with 11 points. The team finishes with a 6 and 3 record. Way to go Colts!
