The 6th-grade boys’ basketball teams were victorious last week at Mitchell. The B-team won easily 44-12 and the A-team coasted to a 50-8 win. The teams are scheduled to play at Owen Valley this week. Keep up the good work boys!
The 7th-grade Colts basketball team traveled to Martinsville last night coming away with the win! The final score was 24-12. Leading scorers of the game were Lillian DeSalle with 9 points and Leia Frye with 6 points. Way to go ladies!
The 8th-grade girls defeated Martinsville 39-14. Scorers were Madison Bland and Macey Crider with 10 points each, Allison Bland with 6 points, Kyleigh Murphy and Addison Yearby with 4 points each, Reyanna Dryer with 3 points, and Lizzy Austin with 2 points. Congratulations!
EJHS is excited to announce that we will again be offering a junior high baseball team this spring season. Be on the lookout for additional and more detailed information, including tryout dates and times, in the next couple of weeks. We hope that you will consider being a part of a team that strives to prepare team members for competition at the high school level.
