The 7th-grade girls’ basketball team traveled to Batchelor last night for an A and B game. They fell short in the A game with a final score of 21-7. They won the B game thanks to a buzzer-beater by Kahlan Hoard. The final score was 20-19.
The 8th-grade girls’ basketball team defeated Batchelor 47-7 last night. Scorers were Madison Bland with 19 points, Allison Bland with 16 points, Ava LaRoche with 8 points, and Reyanna Dryer and Lizzy Austin with 2 points each.
The Edgewood baseball team will be holding their Winter Warm-Up Camp for grades 5 through 8 on the following Sundays: February 13th, 20th, and 27th. Athletes who attend the camp will get to learn new drills and concepts to get them ready for the upcoming baseball season.
