Issue 4 of the Colt’s Chronicles is now out! For our current issue, we have added things like our new featured student artists column. We have expanded our features section to include people from the community but also including even some famous people too. Do you like to sing, dance, and perform on stage? Audition for Edgewood Junior High Show Choir! Auditions are May 4th, 5th, and 6th right after school in the Choir Room. You will learn a dance and sing part of a selected song that Mr. Doades will give to you. Info will be sent out to 6th-grade and 7th-grade students and parents via email soon. If you can’t come after school or are a virtual student currently, there will also be a virtual audition. It can’t hurt to audition, so come on out if you are interested! Interested students should plan to attend one of the audition days. Sign-ups for each day will be on the Choir Room door.
The second open house night for 5th & 6th-graders interested in joining EJHS Beginning Band will be Tuesday, May 4 from 5-7:30 in the EJHS Band Room (Use Entrance #8). Feel free to stop by at a time that is convenient for you. Instruments will be on display, there will be optional mouthpiece testing, and representatives from Paiges Music if you wish to speak with them about renting an instrument from them. If you can’t make this night, please contact Mr. Koehler at ckoehler@rbbschools.net for other options.
