The 8th-grade boys’ basketball team won both the B and A games last night against Owen Valley! Anthony Shields played a spectacular game at point guard by running the fast break, finding open teammates, and leading the way to a 54 to 22 victory. Logan Edwards played a great offensive game driving hard to the basket, finishing with 14 points. Isaiah Gough and Seth Houchin scored 13 and 10, respectively. In the second game of the night, the Colts were fueled once again by Anthony Shields. The team broke the game open in the second half and won 46 to 24. Carter Hayden scored a team-high 14 points while Jake Blessinger added 13 rebounds. An addendum from Coach Stevens: “The student section was awesome last night, bringing the energy and making it hard for OV all night long!”
