Congratulations to our Junior High members of the Marching Mustangs who placed first this past Saturday at the Zionsville contest, winning best music, best visual, best general effect, and best percussion. The Marching Mustangs also placed first the previous weekend with several caption awards at the Avon Contest. This Saturday, they will travel to Jasper.
The Cross Country team competed in the WIC Meet here on the home course this past Saturday. The girls worked together, motivated each other, and, as a result, are now CONFERENCE CHAMPS!!! The boys ran hard and were focused the entire race. They placed third to North Clay and Indian Creek. Coaches Kensek, Erickson, and Norris are incredibly proud of all the hard work and dedication runners put in this season! Congratulations, Colts!
Congratulations to the 8th-grade volleyball team on their big win last night at Owen valley in the WIC Championship game against North Clay. The girls played amazing and shut down the knights, leading player of the night was Ella LaRoche with 17 awesome serves! The team wants to thank all the fans who came out and supported us, it was definitely a loud crowd!! Great Job! Good luck to both 7th & 8th as they play in round 1 in the county tournament tonight!

Thanksgiving Food Drive for Pantry 279 (See Flyer)
Your EJHS Student Council and PTO have combined efforts to collect boxes of macaroni and cheese to donate to Pantry 279 for their Thanksgiving food basket drive. Any brand of macaroni and cheese is great—please bring them to your homerooms 10/24—11/14; the homeroom that collects the most boxes will win a surprise breakfast treat/prize!
Pantry 279 works tirelessly to feed our local community and they rely on the kindness and generosity of our people to help—they are planning on building nearly 2200 boxes/meals this Thanksgiving! Our goal is to collect 500 boxes of macaroni and cheese.
The Athletic Department is now selling Edgewood socks for school spirit. See Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center to purchase your Edgewood socks in person today. There are two color options to choose from and two different sizes. All socks are $15.
Please check the table outside the Guidance Office for lost items that might belong to you. Unclaimed items will be donated before Fall Break.
The championship dodgeball bracket will happen on Friday before Fall Break with the winning grade competing against the teachers and staff and totals and fundraising winners will be announced that day as well!
