September 16, 2022

It was a fabulous night for the cross country team at home yesterday against Martinsville. Both the girls and boys teams scored perfect races by taking the top 7 places. Davin Norris finished in 1st, AJ Norris 2nd, Josh Bryce 3rd, Hank Ripley 4th, Logan Dhom 5th, Jesse Dixon 6th, and Daylin Pairtz 7th, Henry Norris 8th, and Evan Cole 9th. On the girls side Sophia Mobley was 1st, Josephine Buckley 2nd, Nerissa Zelhof-Arriaga 3rd, Greta Vegedas 4th, Avigail Grile 5th, Jenna Robbins 6th, Maggie McCormack 7th, and Kaityln Woodcock 10th. More impressive yet is that nearly all of the girls and boys ran personal best times. The cross country team looks ready to run fast times on Saturday at Eagle Classic against over 25 teams.
