Attention Colts: Come on out and support the volleyball teams on their quest to dominate the WIC Tournament at Owen Valley on Monday, October 3rd.  The fan bus will leave the parking lot at 5:15. Cost is $5 which covers your entry fee for the tournament and the bus ride.  Let’s go, Colts!

The 7th grade football team beat Batchelor last night. It was a great team effort! Last night’s win made the Colts the County Champs!

It was a tough loss for the 8th grade football team. It’s tough to win in someone else’s house. It has been 4 straight games on the road. Keep your heads up, boys! The MVP of the game was Clark Riggs who had 7 tackles and 2 sacks.

Congratulations to the 8th grade volleyball team on their big win last night against Bachelor. Going into the game Bachelor was undefeated, but the girls played hard through some tough situations and came out winners! Great Job and good luck tomorrow at the WIC tournament!

Cross country ran at the BNL Invite yesterday. Boys Varsity, Girls Varsity, and Girls JV placed 4th, and Boys JV placed 2nd. Runners will compete in their final race of the season this Saturday for WIC on our home course. Good luck to all runners!

Today is the last day for 6th grade girls’ basketball tryouts from 4:00-5:30 pm.

RBBCSC – Chromebook Protection Plan – Opt-in: The deadline to enroll is TODAY. The new opt-in protection plan is for only $33.00 for a whole school year! Coverage begins on the first day of school and ends July 1st the following year. Sign-up is easy. Just go to K-12 Tech’s Edgewood School Sign Up page, fill out the form, and submit a payment via credit/debit card.

The Athletic Department is now selling Edgewood socks for school spirit. See Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center to purchase your Edgewood socks in person today. There are two color options to choose from and two different sizes. All socks are $15.

The championship dodgeball bracket will happen on Friday before Fall Break with the winning grade competing against the teachers and staff and totals and fundraising winners will be announced that day as well!

It’s the last day of the Book Fair! We are just shy of meeting our goal. We would appreciate your help getting us to that mark.

EJHS Kirkwood School Picture online ordering is now available! You can also purchase Fall Sports pictures online by using this link. Picture re-takes have been scheduled for October 25th.

Calling all 7th and 8th graders!  There are 14 spaces available before we will initiate a waitlist for our Washington DC trip. The Washington, D.C. registration deadline has been extended. See the attached flyer.

Come check out our student-made products and support the design lab. – you can see examples of products in the case outside Mrs. Guest-Scott’s room, or by clicking the link in the announcements or on the QR code on the fliers.

Fall Sports Spirit Days – Any EJHS student that wears that day’s spirit wear to the game, will get free admission.

Coming soon to Edgewood Junior High!  Our 2nd Annual Pumpkinfest will be held on October 29th, so mark your calendars! The night will include a trunk or treat, a pumpkin walk, a pumpkin derby, and more! There will be multiple opportunities to grab a snack along the way. More details to come.
