GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Chromebooks: If you are a student and do not have a Chromebook, please visit Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center. Any issues, repairs, etc. also need to go to the Media Center.
Kirkwood Yearbook Pictures: Thursday, August 24. More information will be sent home soon.
Joke of the Day: We are going to have a “Joke of the Day” each day on the announcements. Anyone who wants to submit a joke for consideration should fill out this form.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Horsepower: Edgewood Junior High School’s very own strength and conditioning club is starting back up today and every Friday right after school until 4 pm unless otherwise notified.
Cross Country: Anyone interested in running cross country should meet in the cafeteria for practice after school today. Please leave bags in lockers. Practice will end at 4 pm. This Friday, August 11th is the deadline to join the team. If you have more questions ask Mr. Kensek, Mrs. Musselwhite, or Mr. Norris.
Robotics Club: EJHS Robotics will begin on Monday, August 14th. Practices are Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 4 pm in room 221 (Grimes) Pick up is at door 9 at 4 pm. Fall athletes are welcome to begin robotics after their fall sports season is complete. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Grimes at kgrimes@rbbschools.net.
Color Guard: Interested in learning new skills, performing, and making new friends? Come to Edgewood junior high color guard tryouts on August 16th from 5:30-7 pm in the junior high band room.
Theater Club: If you are interested in joining the theater club please complete this form. Theater Club will begin meeting on Tuesdays, starting August 22nd until 3:30 pm. Pick up will be at door 2. We will spend the first-semester learning theater skills, playing games, doing improv, etc. In the second semester, we will have auditions for a school play or musical. You can be in the club even if you don’t wish to perform on stage!
ATHLETICS INFORMATION
Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire next school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athlete prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. FinalForms: All physicals are now completed through FinalForms. All athletes MUST be registered on FinalForms. Register HERE
Transportation Fees: Each student-athlete will be required to pay a $30 transportation fee for each sport in which he/she participates. Make payments on Eventlink HERE.
Event Tickets: We are cashless. We will have a card reader for bank and credit cards at the gate. Or you can pre-purchase tickets on Eventlink HERE.
- Gate Ticket Prices: $5 per person or $15 per family
- EJHS All Sports Season Passes (Coming soon): Each pass is good for admission to all home EJHS athletic events excluding County and WIC tournaments. Non-Transferable – Edgewood High School events are not covered by this pass.
- 2023-2024 Family Pass (Immediate Family Only) – $100
- 2023-2024 Adult Pass – $40
- 2023-2024 Student/Child Pass – $20
- 2023-2024 Senior Pass – $20
