The 6th grade girls’ basketball team completed their first game of the season last night at home vs Orleans. They lost the first and won the second, putting up a great fight in both games. Congrats to the girls for getting their first win of the season.

Colts Chronicles – The winners of the scary story contest on Colts Chronicles have been determined. In first place, is Hailee Dine for her story “The Kidnapper”. In second place, is Lynlee Crouch for her story “Lucy, I’m Pulling off Your Covers”. In third place, is Greta Vagedes for her story “Forever and Always”. BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND-HELP US HELP OTHERS THIS THANKSGIVING! Your EJHS Student Council and PTO have combined efforts to collect boxes of macaroni and cheese to donate to Pantry 279 for their Thanksgiving food basket drive. Any brand of macaroni and cheese is great–please bring them to your homerooms now through 11/10; the homeroom that collects the most boxes will win a surprise breakfast treat/prize!
Pantry 279 works tirelessly to feed our local community and they rely on the kindness and generosity of our people to help – they are planning on building nearly 2200 boxes/meals this Thanksgiving! Our goal is to collect 500 boxes of macaroni and cheese.

Now that fall sports and some fun events have passed, our EJHS yearbook editors are requesting your help. Please submit action photos of sports, clubs, field trips, the Glow Dance, or PumpkinFest for possible use in the 2024 yearbook by uploading jpg images to Jostens from a phone or a computer. Pizza X POP Tabs: Love Pizza X? Love EJHS? Eat pizza from Pizza X and save the Proof-Of-Purchase (POP) tabs from the pizza boxes. Ask your friends and family to save them as well. Each Proof-Of-Purchase tab is worth 25 cents. During the week of November 13th-17th, each POP tab is doubled. Bring your tabs to the Main Office anytime throughout the year
Not Feeling Well: Students if you’re not feeling well report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.

Debate Club callout meeting: The Debate Club will have its first meeting on Friday, November 10th in room 217. We will meet from 2:30-3:30 every Friday after that

Social Studies: Will begin meeting on Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 beginning November 9th in room 217. Only those who have received an email from Ms. Jones should attend.
Winter Guard Auditions: Interested in competing, learning new skills, and fun activities? The last Audition will take place tomorrow from 5-7 pm in the EJHS Band Room. Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athletes prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. FinalForms: All physicals are now completed through FinalForms. All athletes MUST be registered on FinalForms. Register HERE
Transportation Fees: Each student-athlete will be required to pay a $30 transportation fee for each sport in which he/she participates. Make payments on Eventlink. Under contact information, please enter your athlete’s name and the sport you are paying for. for example “John Doe – Cross Country.” If you are paying for more than one athlete, please purchase them separately.
Event Tickets: We are cashless. We will have a card reader for bank and credit cards at the gate. Or you can pre-purchase tickets on Eventlink HERE.
- Gate Ticket Prices: $5 per person
- EJHS All Sports Season Passes: Each pass is good for admission to all home EJHS athletic events excluding County and WIC tournaments. Non-Transferable – Edgewood High School events are not covered by this pass.
