GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
At tomorrow’s basketball game against Northview, we will be doing our second annual “Chuck-A-Duck” 50/50 fundraiser. For $5 you can buy a chance to throw one of 396 ducks at halftime of the boys’ varsity game. There will be a target in the middle of the court and the duck closest to the center will win. The winner will get half of the profits. That means UP TO $990 dollars!

Seniors: Over the next couple months you will receive a number of emails regarding college scholarships. If you plan to apply for any scholarships, be sure to check your school email on a regular basis. This morning, all seniors were emailed information regarding EHS Dollars for Scholars scholarships. Be sure to see this email.

Tuesday, 2/13 is the last day to purchase a CandyGram for a friend, a staff member, yourself, or a special someone. JAG students are selling these in the commons during lunch and they will be delivered during 5th period on Wednesday. PARENTS – if you are interested in sending a CandyGram to your student or a staff member at EHS, please use this link to place your order. Payment can be made in 4 ways: Venmo, CashAPP, Check, or Cash (see details in the link). Ring Pops or Fun Dip for $1 each or a Gift Box of assorted candy for $3.

Any student interested in trying out for the 2024 – 2025 Cheer Squad, please complete the google form and we will send you all the information via email. We will have a clinic beginning Monday, March 4th , Wednesday, March 6th from 5:30 – 7:00. Then on Thursday, March 7th the tryout will begin at 6:30.

The Bloomington Rotary Club has announced its annual speech contest details. Any EHS student may enter the contest. You will give a 4 to 6 minute speech on the topic: “Create Hope in the World Beginning with Yourself.” If you would like more information about the contest, please see Mrs. Van Allen in the library by the end of the day this Friday. Prizes for winners are $100 for Bloomington area and $1000 for a Rotary district level.

Students who would like to request to see their counselor should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email. Students may not request schedule changes based on teacher or period preference.
