RESULTS
Colts Swim and Dive completed their season with an exciting County meet hosted at IU. Swimmers and Divers competed hard and put on a true show of how swimming is a team sport. Both boys and girls teams took second place falling to Jackson Creek but beating third place Tri-North by a comfortable 40 points. There were countless personal records broken last night and our athletes left knowing they did their absolute best.
The top three County finishes included:
Boys 200 Medley Relay — Declan Panagopoulos, Chris Zelhof-Arriaga, Anderson Shertzer, and Garrett Brown
50 Freestyle — Emmerson Kester and Ryder Colford
Diving — Annalise Emmons
400 Free — Jillian Cowden
Girls 200 Free Relay — Emerson Kester, Katelyn Woodcock, Sophia Mobley, Jillian Cowden

Edgewood Winter Guard is hosting a Guard & Dance Clinic on March 30th, 10:30-1:00 pm at the EJHS Gym. The cost is $20. The clinic is open to all students K-12. Students will learn a routine that involves both dance and flag skills with students in their age group. Click the link for the signup sheet.

Volleyball Call Out: Calling all current 6th & 7th graders interested in trying out for the school volleyball team next year! We will start open gyms on Friday, March 22nd right after school in the multipurpose gym until 4 pm. These are not required but are strongly recommended so you are ready for the season! Calendars and more information will be handed out at the first couple of open gyms!!

EJHS Cheer Tryouts: Cheer tryouts for next fall will be held on March 25th, 28th, and 29th. Any current 5th, 6th, or 7th-grader interested in participating should fill out this Google Form. More information will be emailed once the Google form is filled out. If you are interested in participating but are unable to attend a certain day, please email edgewoodcoltscheer@yahoo.com.

ATHLETICS INFORMATION
Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athletes prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. Transportation Fees: Each student-athlete will be required to pay a $30 transportation fee for each sport in which he/she participates. Make payments on Eventlink. Under contact information, please enter your athlete’s name and the sport you are paying for. for example “John Doe – Cross Country.” If you are paying for more than one athlete, please purchase them separately.

Event Tickets: We are cashless. We will have a card reader for bank and credit cards at the gate. Or you can pre-purchase tickets on Eventlink HERE.

- EJHS All Sports Season Passes: Each pass is good for admission to all home EJHS athletic events excluding County and WIC tournaments. Non-Transferable – Edgewood High School events are not covered by this pass.

From today on, if you find yourself in this situation you complete our Colts Care Closet form online and your EJHS Student Services providers will help you get those needs met. We have new hygiene products, new or gently used clothing, and more available for your personal use. You will find the link to the Colts Care form in your email, on the counselor sign-up form, and in your student bookmarks. Not Feeling Well: Students if you’re not feeling well report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.

Chromebooks/Chargers: If you have any issues or damage to your Chromebook please see Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center. Due to the high demand and lack of supply, we will no longer be able to provide students with a loaner charger during school hours. See Ms. Edgeman if you need to purchase a new charger.
