GYMNASTICS: Any girl wanting to participate in gymnastics should come see Mrs. Dodds in the health office this week to get information for the upcoming season.
PEP SESSION: Friday we will be having a pep session to kick-off the fall sports season! If you are interested in playing in one of the games please come see Miss Brookman in Room E108 (in the very back of the school). We would love to have a bunch of people participate!

THEATRE: Auditions for our fall play, “30 Reasons Not Be In A Play” will be held Monday, August 26th and Tuesday, August 27th from 3pm – 7pm in the High School Auditorium. Want to get involved but don’t want to perform on stage? We are also looking for crew members who want to get involved and meet new friends, but don’t want to be on stage. You can pick up an Information Packet at the front desk or visit HERE to get everything you need. We can’t wait to see you at auditions!

September’s Book Club selection is Bad Girls Never Say Die by Jennifer Mathieu. Do you remember reading The Outsiders in middle school? Enjoy this gender flipped retelling of S. E. Hinton’s classic book. It takes place in Texas in 1964, and it follows several teens as they go through some of the hardest times of their life. Book Club is for any EHS student. Come into the library to check out the book!

YEARBOOKS: Mustangs, now is the time to order the El Corral yearbook to take advantage of our lowest price of the year! Our Back to School Sale runs through 9/6/24. Until September 6th, you can pre-order the yearbook for $50. For more information,  go to:

jostens.com/backtoschool

or call 1-877-767-5217 for more information.

If you are planning on playing boys’ basketball and you are not involved in a fall sport, you need to attend after-school weights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. These workouts begin at 2:45 and conclude at 4:15 p.m.
Any boy in a fall sport who wants to try out for basketball needs to stop by Mr. Wadsworth’s room (E126). He can give you information regarding equipment, tryouts, etc.

STUDENT PARKING: Students park in the front parking lot. In order to drive to school students must fill out the PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION

You will then need to go to Mr. Latham in the front office with $1 and your driver’s license to get your parking permit. If you registered your vehicle previously, you do NOT need to get another permit.

LOCKERS: Lockers will be available upon request this year. Please see Mr. Latham or Mrs. Waterford in the front/guidance office!
