The is a change in the lunch menu next week. It will be as follows:
Monday: Ravioli with a Grain
Tuesday: Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers.
2021 Edgewood High School Junior-Senior Prom
Who can attend? COVID-19 regulations only allow for current EHS juniors and EHS seniors to attend.
What? Dinner (entrée options: Beef/ Chicken/ Vegetarian) and Dancing!
When? Saturday, May 1, 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Where? EHS Football Field or EHS Commons/Main Gym (TBD)
How? Students will be in groups of 8 (or hopefully 16), which they will choose when they purchase tickets.
This is the LAST WEEK to purchase prom tickets!!! See Mrs Niehoff and Mrs. Taft during the first half of lunch!!! All tickets are $20. Seniors who earned free tickets through Fall 2019 fundraiser will be honored.

Congratulations to Jacob Waugh, the winner of the Daniel Guthrie chapter, Sons of the American Revolution’s Knight Essay Contest. Keelyn Tiller placed second, and Parker Pelletier place third.

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT
Cook Group will award two or three Ivy Tech scholarships to EHS seniors. One scholarship will be worth $5,000. In addition, a second $5,000 scholarship, or two $2,500 scholarships, will be awarded. This was recently added to the Dollars for Scholars scholarships. Apply at http://www.edgewood.
Students who would like to request to see their counselor, should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email.
EXTENDED OPPORTUNITIES
The Monroe County Youth Council, with support from the Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County and the City of Bloomington Volunteer Network, invites teens enrolled in any Monroe County high school to be a part of Global Youth Service Day. There will be volunteer opportunities on two dates, April 23 and April 24. See this information to register by April 21 and to find out more about the days. A limited number of volunteers will be accepted at each service project.
Sylvan Learning Center is having another SAT Test Prep Course. It starts Sunday, April 18, and will prepare students fully for the June 5 exam. The cost, including the textbooks and one-year software license is $295. Normally the cost is $799.
