Remember that there is no school on Monday due to Labor Day and that Tuesday and Wednesday will be eLearning Days! The homeroom attendance question will be posted by 7 am and MUST be completed by 11 am in order to be counted present those two days.
There will be a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine clinic offered to students ages 12 and older at EJHS during the school day on Thursday, September 16th. Parents who wish to have their student vaccinated at school need to read and complete the consent and health questionnaire found HERE. The deadline for all paperwork to be turned in to the office is today!

The EJHS student handbook states that once a student arrives at school he/she is to remain at school until the end of the school day. In case of illness, the student must report to the health office and the health aide will determine if the student meets the criteria to be sent home. The health aide will contact a parent if the student needs to leave school. If the student contacts a parent directly without seeing the health aide, the absence will be unexcused.
Please remember that Chromebooks are school property and writing and/or stickers should not be placed on them.

The EJHS Colts cross country team traveled to Batchelor Thursday evening to face off against the Bulldogs. The teams were equally matched and only a few points decided the race. The score each time was 26 to 30, with the boys squeaking out a win and the girls coming up a tad short. The boys were once again led by Davin Norris, winning the race with a time of 12:26 on a slightly longer course. In second this time was Braiden McGinnis just beating teammate A.J. Norris by two-tenths of a second. Aiden Lee came in 9th, Hank Ripley in 11th, Henry Norris in 13th, and Logan Dohm in 14th. Fantastic job, boys! Hannah Crain was the top EJHS finisher, coming in 2nd overall with a time of 12:45. She was supported by Ellie Vagedas in 4th, Allison Bland in 5th, Nerissa Zelhof-Arriaga in 8th, Lilly Padgett in 11th, Ryleigh Burnett in 12th, and Hayden Stevens in 13th. We’ll get them next time ladies – great effort!
