GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Auditions for the Edgewood Winter Guard are this upcoming Tuesday and Wednesday the 19th and 20th here at EHS – Check out the flyers in the hallway for more info. No experience is necessary to come be a part of the winning tradition.

Have you considered culinary arts or hospitality as a career?  Maybe you might want to become:
  • a chef in a restaurant
  • pastry chef
  • grill master
  • a travel agent
  • a hotel manager
  • an event coordinator

If  this is an area of interest, please sign up for the next Career Panel Tuesday during Plus Time.  Three representatives from local businesses will be here to discuss what they do and answer your questions.

Wanted: Musicians or singers who are interested in performing during lunch in the library. If you would like to know more about providing background music while students dine in the library and the coffee shop, sign up for an information session during this Thursday’s Mustang Time in the library OR see Mrs. Van Allen, EHS librarian, for details.

Any boys interested in playing baseball this year who are NOT getting information on SportsYou need to see Coach Jones in the office or Coach Kido in his classroom ASAP.

The Edgewood Basketball Fall Fan Shop is open! Order your Edgewood Basketball gear and be ready for all your winter games! Kid and adult sizes available.
This store closes on 11/24, and orders will be delivered by the first week of December. Embroidered apparel and pants may come slightly after.

Calling All East High Wildcats!! Come Join Edgewood Theatre Arts THIS WEDNESDAY from 3pm – 4pm in the EHS Auditorium to find out how YOU can get involved with our Spring Production of Disney’s High School Musical! Anyone interested in auditioning for the cast or being a part of a crew for what is sure to be Edgewood Theatre Arts Biggest Show EVER, is welcome! As a plus, we will also have pizza so come grab a slice and learn about how you can be a part of Something New with Edgewood Theatre Arts! What’s new in the EHS library? Now you can find out by visiting our updated library webpage. Start on the school’s website, and select the “Edgewood Programs” box. From there it’s easy to find our library webpage. We have information posted about Book Club and the Flash Fiction Writing Contest. More information will be posted soon. So bookmark it on your chromebook so you can hear the most current news about what’s happening in your EHS library.

STUDENT PARKING: Students park in the front parking lot. In order to drive to school students must fill out the PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION

You will then need to go to Mr. Latham in the front office with $1 and your driver’s license to get your parking permit. If you registered your vehicle previously, you do NOT need to get another permit.

 

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT/SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Students who would like to request to see their counselor should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email. Students may not request schedule changes based on teacher or period preference.
