This past weekend Caden Huttenlocker represented Edgewood in the Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association All-Star game. Caden helped lead the West team to victory by scoring 10 points. Congratulations to Caden on an outstanding performance!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Freshmen through Juniors and their parents can learn about financial aid for college at our College Financial Aid Early Awareness Program Monday evening, April 18 from 7:00 to 8:00 in the EHS library.  A link to register was emailed to all freshmen through juniors and parents last week and again this morning. Link to register.

Seniors: Complete this form for the Senior Faculty Games by April 15th. The form will be emailed to you as well.

Doering Strong shirts are no longer for sale. Wear yours this Friday, April 8th to show your support!

Juniors:  You may have received an email from College Board saying you are registered for the April school day SAT.  This actually applies only to those juniors who were to test March 3 but did not do so due to being absent or late to school that day.  If you took the March 3 SAT, you will not be taking it again in April.  Any junior who did not take the March SAT will take it in April.

Tutoring: Edgewood’s Tutoring Site, sponsored by NHS, offers tutoring in Math, Science, Social Studies, English, Computer Science, and Choir. Students will be able to simply submit their questions on a Google Form and NHS tutors will respond. The forms, along with more information, can be found at this link.

MCPL Math Homework Help For Teens: The Monroe County Public Library Downtown Branch offers free homework help on Mondays from 7-8:30 PM. See the flyer for more details.

Student Drivers: All students who plan to drive to school must have a completed Parking Permit Registration on file with the school even if the car has been previously registered by another EHS student/sibling and already has a parking tag. Every car in the student parking lot must be registered to the current driver.

  • Students who have registered as drivers in a previous year and have not changed vehicles are not required to register again.
  • After you have filled out the form, bring your driver’s license and $1 cash to Mrs. Johnson in the school office ASAP to receive your sticker.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Cheer: Any student interested in trying out for the 2022 – 2023 Cheer Squad, please complete the google form and we will send you all the information via email.  We will have a clinic begin Monday, April 25th , Wednesday, April 27th from 6 – 8.  Then on Friday, April 29th the tryout will begin at 6.

Wrestlers, if you did not wrestle this year and want to wrestle next year, please see Coach Ratliff for some important information.

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT/SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Students who would like to request to see their counselor, should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email.

Seniors with a Stinesville connection:  The Stinesville High School Alumni Association will award two EHS seniors scholarships expected to be in the amount of $4,000 each.  See this morning’s email from Mr. Faust for details and a link to the application.  Deadline to apply is March 21.
