STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Media Center: Curious Wednesday programs are back! This Wednesday, Mrs. Shea will tell us about the benefits of yoga as she leads us in some light yoga exercises. Then next Wednesday, November 16, two of our school’s psychologists will lead an informal discussion about the career school psychologist. If you want to explore a career in which you can make a difference in the lives of young people, come hear Dr. Heather Rimstidt and I.U. practicum student, Malena Nygaard, as they describe this fulfilling career. Bring your lunch to the media center.
Book Club: All EHS students are welcome to read this month’s Book Club selection, Americanized: Rebel Without a Green Card, a nonfiction humorous memoir by author, Sara Saedi. This book is about a U.S. teenager who lives the typical teen life, but then finds out a family secret and lives in fear of deportation. Come by the media center to check out the book for our next Book Club meeting on November 28th.
