Yearbook: The last day to order yearbooks at the $60 price is December 16th, 2022.  Following that date, the price will increase to $70.  Order now if you have not already and save $10. (Please note: We do not know for sure exactly when their computers will switch to the new price, so it is best to avoid waiting until the deadline.)

Yearbook Photos: Please use this link to access your Kirkwood yearbook photos. You can order them here as well.

*There is a change to Student Driver Registration: All students who plan to drive to school must have a Parking Permit Registration on file with the school even if the car has been previously registered by another EHS student/sibling and already has a parking tag. Every car in the student parking lot must be registered to the current driver. Parents can find and fill out this form in Harmony Family Access with the registration paperwork. Any student who has already received a tag for a car registered to them after filling out the old Google Form, does not need to redo the form in Harmony.

  • Students who have registered as drivers in a previous year and have not changed vehicles are not required to register again.
  • After you have filled out the form in Harmony, bring your driver’s license and $1 cash to Mrs. Johnson in the school office ASAP to receive your sticker.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Media Center News: Our presenter for this week’s Curious Wednesday is Mrs. Norris, who will be sharing one of her hobbies, English Paper Piecing, a craft that is similar to quilting. Mrs. Norris has been working on patterns of U.S. National Parks symbols. This craft is a great one for making gifts, too. Come in to the library during Wednesday’s lunch and enjoy hearing about this unique craft.

Girls Tennis: If you are interested in joining the Girls Tennis Team please fill out this google form: ( https://forms.gle/Rx9Uqbn2nAz6kB3L6 ). We will have a call out meeting on January 31st right after school and will start conditioning the following week. If you have any questions please let Miss Brookman know!

Softball: Any girls planning on playing on the school softball team this spring needs to see Mr. Hammett at lunch or send him an email so he can get you on the email list.

The lacrosse team will have winter conditioning practices on Tuesday and Wednesdays, beginning at 6pm in the weight room.  Nothing is needed, just show up! Contact Coach Mary (mellis@rbbschools.net) for more info.

Academic Super Bowl: If you think it would be fun to be a part of a team where you learn about music, art, literature, history, science, or math, then Academic Super Bowl is for you! We’re currently recruiting team members – all are welcome. If interested, contact Mrs. Van Allen in the library or one of the following teachers: Mr. Walter (math),  Mrs. Mathias (English), Mr. Axsiom (fine arts), Mrs. Boivert-Storey (science), and Mr. Winkler (social studies). Sign up soon to be involved in an easy fundraiser to help cover your activity fee. This year’s theme is “The Age of Exploration: 1400-1650.”

National Honor Society: NHS will meet on the first Thursday of each month in the auditorium from 7-7:15 AM.

Writing Club: The Writing Club will meet Mondays after school in the library until 3:15. All are welcome!

Gymnastics: Any girl interested in being on the school gymnastics team this year needs to sign up on the list in the athletic office.
