VOLUNTEER TEACHING ASSISTANTS
Edge students work with teachers at EPS one day per week, fulfilling a variety of responsibilities. Teachers benefit by getting an extra set of helping hands in their classroom to run copies, stuff backpacks, help with projects, supervise the wee ones, and whatever else may arise in the course of a typical (usually busy) school day. Students benefit by gaining valuable work experience and an opportunity to practice the skills necessary to be successful in life after the big day (graduation).
HELPING HANDS WHEN NEEDED
Edge students are willing to jump in when needed. Events like the EIS Color Run offer our students a great opportunity to help our school, while encouraging the younger kids to participate in a healthy activity. Giving back feels good!
