2025-2026 Enrollment Information:
- Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year will open online March 3rd at 10:00 am. An enrollment link will be shared by email and posted on our school website at exactly 10:00 am on March 3rd. (Families on the current waitlist must also complete the enrollment form).
- It is important to note that being on our current waiting list is not the same as enrolling for the 2024-2025 school year and does not give a student priority placement for the coming school year.
- Priority placement is offered to the following groups:
- current students
- children of Edgewood staff
- in-district students with existing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- students who have a sibling who currently attends EECC and will still be attending EECC in the 2025-2026 school year
- students who live in the Richland-Bean Blossom district
- all other enrollments are honored on a first-come, first-served basis if spots are still available.
- EECC follows the same school year calendar as the rest of our Edgewood School District: Calendar.
- Families are responsible for transportation to and from preschool. Bus transportation is available only to students whose Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) dictate a need for this service.
- Students do not need to be potty-trained in order to attend EECC.
- A limited number of spaces in our Before and After Care program will be available at an additional cost for students. Priority enrollment is given to students who live in-district. All other enrollments are honored on a first-come, first-served basis.

About EECC:
- EECC is the preschool program for Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation. Students must reside in RBB district. Students who do not live in RBB district must have an approved transfer request. Priority is given to all students who reside in RBB district. If space is still available once all in district students have been placed, out of district transfers will then be considered on a first come, first served basis.
- Proof of residency will be required upon enrollment and again in August before school begins. If you move out of district prior to the beginning of the school year, you must apply for a transfer request, which will be considered based on availability.
- The state requires a 12:1 student to staff ratio for Pre-K classrooms and a 10:1 ratio for 3 year olds. At EECC our average student to staff ratio is approximately 8:1.
- EECC is a nationally accredited program through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
- EECC is a “Paths to Quality Level 3” preschool, and is working towards Level 4. Level 3 programs focus on the professional development of their staff and the school readiness curriculum for students. Additionally, they incorporate family and staff input into their program. Level 4 programs meet these criteria as well as being nationally accredited. Learn more HERE.
- EECC uses “The Creative Curriculum” as our curriculum to meet Indiana’s Early Learning Standards for preschoolers. Learn more HERE.
