RESULTS

The baseball team defeated Brown County 11 to 0 on Tuesday night. Jackson Huber threw a complete game no-hitter over five innings and struck out 11 while Will Lawson had three RBIs and Carter Hayden had two RBIs.

Come out to support the baseball and softball teams tonight as we host Sullivan at 6 PM!

The Lady Mustang Softball started off the W.I.C. season with an 18-1 win over Brown County.  Alli Bland and Brylee Moore shared the pitching with 12 strikeouts.  Sydney Austin had 4 hits, Brylee Moore had 3 and Lizzy Austin had 2.  Hitting home runs were Olivia McPherson, Lizzy Austin and Brylee Moore.  Home game tonight against Sullivan.  We would love to see you there.
The JV defeated the Eagles 13-1 for their 3rd straight win.

TEACHER APPRECIATION 2025 : MAY 5-9

SeniorsEHS Honors Night will take place Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 7:00.  If you are receiving a college scholarship, we would like to recognize this at Honors Night; however, we do not necessarily know which students are receiving scholarships so, if you are receiving a scholarship, be sure to see the email Mr. Faust sent which has a link you will use to let us know of your scholarship.

Prom Ticket Sales will be on Wednesday, April 23 – Friday, April 25.  Seniors are $40 and Juniors/Underclassmen/Non-EHS guests are $80.  We will be accepting cash and check during lunches on those days. Prom guest forms are due to Mrs. Carmichael in the office by Friday, April 25th at the latest.

The Edgewood Coffee Corral is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year Paid positions are available during the school day and during extracurricular activities, so you can find a schedule that works for you. Attention students! If you’re interested in joining the EHS Cheer team for the 2025-2026 season, listen up! Cheer tryouts are coming soon.

Tryouts will be held on the following dates:

  • April 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 PM
  • April 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 PM
  • April 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Please remember to wear red, black, or white athletic clothing, and make sure you have a physical on file. You can pick up an info packet in the front office for more details.

A SAFE ENVIRONMENT: Clear Creek Cleanup with City of Bloomington Utilities

Join MCYC & the City Utilities Department to skill up on caring for local water systems, then clean up pollution in Clear Creek, one of Monroe County’s central waterways!
*NOTE: Participants in Clear Creek Cleanup will be required to sign an additional waiver.*
A STRONG COMMUNITY: Know Your Rights & Refugee Letter-Writing
Friday, April 25 from 4-6pm
Monroe County Public Library (303 E Kirkwood Ave.)

Come to the downtown library for the GYSW capstone event: a two-part learning and service session. First, we’ll get trained on how to look out for our rights during interactions with law enforcement! Next, we’ll write compassionate letters to international refugees!

STUDENT PARKING: Students park in the front parking lot. In order to drive to school students must fill out the PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION

You will then need to go to Mr. Latham in the front office with $1 and your driver’s license to get your parking permit. If you registered your vehicle previously, you do NOT need to get another permit.

 

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT/SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Students who would like to request to see their counselor should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email. Students may not request schedule changes based on teacher or period preference.
