INTERNS: Please check your email for important information from Mrs. Miller regarding finals week.

The EHS Family Tree is up and waiting to be decorated! Students and staff, please bring in an ornament that represents you to decorate our Family Tree. Located outside the nurse’s office. Examples: favorite sport, activity, gaming, cultural or ethnic background, can be homemade or store bought, and it doesn’t have to be an actual ornament.

Yearbook: The last day to order yearbooks at the $60 price is December 16th, 2022.  Following that date, the price will increase to $70.  Order now if you have not already and save $10. (Please note: We do not know for sure exactly when their computers will switch to the new price, so it is best to avoid waiting until the deadline.)

Don’t forget SENIOR ADS! If you are interested in purchasing an ad to recognize your graduating senior, visit the Jostens website to create and place your ad.

Holiday Happiness for Our Staff: The EHS PTO is collecting monetary donations to provide Holiday gifts to our amazing staff. If you wish to donate, you may send cash in with your student to the office or Venmo @katejohnsonco with a note for EHS Staff. Thank you! *Please give by this FRIDAY, 12/9.

Stampede Shirts: We have limited Stampede shirts still for sale! If you would like one please see Mr. Jones in the front office or during lunch to purchase. We have sizes from Small through 3XL and the cost is $8.

BHS Volleyball Tournament: All surrounding high schoolers! Come on out to BHS South’s gym on December 10th at 2pm with a team of six for She Has a Name or SHAN’s first ever volleyball tournament. Or come watch and cheer on your friends for $2. Registration is over December 9th. If you turn your money in by then it is $30 for the whole team. If you pay on the day of, it is $60 dollars. SHAN is a non profit group that is raising funds to support Destiny Rescue, a group that helps save young people from sex trafficking. All of the proceeds will go to Destiny Rescue. Seniors:  If you are interested in becoming a teacher and have either a 3.5 GPA, an 1130 SAT score, or an ACT score of at least 26, you qualify to apply for the  $30,000 Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship.  See the email from Mr. Faust for information about applying for this scholarship.

Kirkwood Last Chance Yearbook Photos: Kirkwood will hold one last opportunity for any student who did not have their picture taken at school. This will be December 13th from 2:30-5:00 at their photography studio.

Senior Cap and Gown Orders: If you did not turn in your cap and gown order, you will need to go online to do so BEFORE December. Order HERE

*There is a change to Student Driver Registration: All students who plan to drive to school must have a Parking Permit Registration on file with the school even if the car has been previously registered by another EHS student/sibling and already has a parking tag. Every car in the student parking lot must be registered to the current driver. Parents can find and fill out this form in Harmony Family Access with the registration paperwork. Any student who has already received a tag for a car registered to them after filling out the old Google Form, does not need to redo the form in Harmony.

• Students who have registered as drivers in a previous year and have not changed vehicles are not required to register again.
• After you have filled out the form in Harmony, bring your driver’s license and $1 cash to Mrs. Johnson in the school office ASAP to receive your sticker.

Junior scheduling appointments have been posted outside of the Counseling Office and across from the cafeteria.  Be sure to check for your appointment date/time and be prepared for your appointment.

Students who would like to request to see their counselor, should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email. Students may not request schedule changes based on teacher or period preference.
