GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Students! Will your name be correct in the 2025 yearbook? Please visit the display case in the hallway next to Mr. Whittemore’s FACS room to check the album-page mock-ups displayed there. If you see anything wrong, please email Mr. Axsiom at  raxsiom@rbbschools.net or talk with him in room A116. Please check your name no later than Monday, March 10th. Thank you!

Come one, come all! Our EHS library is going through a book-weeding process. As a result, there are FREE nonfiction books available in the library for any students or staff who would like them. There’s a good chance you’ll find something that interests you! Mrs. Van Allen says that if you have a particular interest in social sciences, history, art, literature, or sports, you’ll probably find a treasure. Keep checking in since this weeding process will take a couple of months to complete. Again, they are FREE for students and staff. Look over on the mural side of the library.

Lovedwell, Inc., who sponsors a $1,000 Dollars for Scholars scholarship, will hold its 2nd Annual 5K Walk, Run, or Nap  on Saturday, April 5 at 9:00 AM at Karst Parkway across from The Peoples State Bank. The deadline to sign up is March 28 at 3:00 PM so we can get shirts ordered. Lovedwell was created in memory of 2017 EHS Grad, Abigail Guthrie. Abigail would not have wanted to do cardio, so we offer an alternative that she would have enjoyed- a nap. You can sign up for the 5K or to take a nap by visiting https://runsignup.com/Race/IN/Ellettsville/LovedwellKWalkRunOrNap or the Lovedwell website at www.lovedwellinc.org . Anyone who signs up and doesn’t make the in-person will have their shirt mailed to them in time for what would have been Abigail’s 26th birthday on April 13. For questions, please contact Troy Guthrie at lovedwell2019@gmail.com

Rec Sports is back!!!!!!!!!!  RecSports offers students the opportunity to play all the fun games of PE class with no extra fitness days or tests. This new course offers voice and choice to your PE experience.  If you are interested in taking the course, please fill out the Google Form no later than Monday, March 24th.
