National Honor Society meeting 10/3/24 at 7am – EHS Auditorium
Edgewood High School will be hosting a Vaccine Clinic in partnership with the Monroe Country Public Health Clinic on October 29th. If you would like your child(ren) to participate, you must return the FORMS by October 15th.
The Volleyball team will be hosting their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night on tomorrow, October 1st to support Indiana Women in Need.
All students wearing pink that night will get in for free thanks to West Concrete sponsoring the tickets with a bake sale going throughout the night.
To help raise money, the volleyball team will be creating an Honor Wall for any EHS student or staff member who would like to recognize someone who has battled breast cancer. For a donation, you can have their name added to the Honor Wall with all proceeds going to Indiana Women in Need.
Flash Fiction Writing Contest:   It’s time for the library’s Flash Fiction Writing Contest! If you’d like to know more about writing a very short story for this contest, see the table outside the library doors or ask Mrs. Van Allen. Entries are due no later than Friday, October 25, and there will be a party during Mustang Time on Halloween for ALL who enter the contest. Everyone will receive treats, and contest winners will receive prizes. Don’t miss it!
Haunted Museums Daily Trivia Question: Come into the library to answer the trivia question and get a treat. See Reggie by the American flag for each day’s trivia question.

Did you know that Indiana University offers a total-immersion study-abroad program for Indiana high school students during the summer?

Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are studying French, German, and Spanish are invited to apply for the opportunity to spend approximately 5 weeks abroad next summer– attending intensive classes, living with host families, and enjoying a variety of excursions and community-based activities. For summer 2025, we will have programs in France, Austria, and Spain.
