SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKE: Friday, November 1

Wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt supporting your favorite college on Monday, October 28!

The Fall Blood Drive is next Monday 10/28 from 8AM-1PM. Anyone who is 16 or older can participate in the Blood Drive! If you are 16, you will need a waiver for your parent or guardian to sign. We will be having sign ups every day at lunch this week or you can sign up with one of the QR codes in the hallways or on the Student Council Instagram. Let Miss Brookman or Mrs. Boisvert know if you have any questions!

The first Career Panel will be held this Thursday Oct 24th during Plus Time.  This panel will focus on Digital and Visual Arts and community members in these fields will be here to discuss their work and answer your questions.  So if this is a career path you have interest in, please sign up for this Plus Time.  This will be held in the ILC.

What’s new in the EHS library? Now you can find out by visiting our updated library webpage. Start on the school’s website, and select the “Edgewood Programs” box. From there it’s easy to find our library webpage. We have information posted about Book Club and the Flash Fiction Writing Contest. More information will be posted soon. So bookmark it on your chromebook so you can hear the most current news about what’s happening in your EHS library.

Hoosier Hills Career Center is hosting its annual College and Career Pathway Fair/Open House Tuesday, October 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  Students and parents can tour the career center, visit classrooms, watch demonstrations, and speak with college, military, and industry representatives. See how HHCC can help students with skills for college, career, and beyond.

Are you still wanting to turn in a scary story for this year’s Flash Fiction Writing Contest? You have until THIS Friday to get your submission to Mrs. Van Allen. For more details, ask in the library or find information on the table outside the library doors. The deadline for submissions is Friday by 3:00. Happy writing!
Haunted Museums Daily Trivia Question: Come into the library to answer the trivia question and get a treat. See Reggie by the American flag for each day’s trivia question.

STUDENT PARKING: Students park in the front parking lot. In order to drive to school students must fill out the PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION

You will then need to go to Mr. Latham in the front office with $1 and your driver’s license to get your parking permit. If you registered your vehicle previously, you do NOT need to get another permit.

 

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT/SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Students who would like to request to see their counselor should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email. Students may not request schedule changes based on teacher or period preference.
