GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKE: Friday, November 1

Stonegate Skilled Trades Showcase is planned for Nov 21.  All students are eligible to sign up and attend.  At the showcase, there will be 10-12 Skilled Trades represented such as electricians, pipefitters, bricklayers, etc.  There will be opportunities for students to speak directly with skilled trade workers and employees. Students, a Google form has been sent via email for you to sign up if you are interested in attending and the deadline is next Thursday Oct 10. Transportation will be provided.
The gymnastics parent meeting will be taking place on Thursday, October 10, 6:30pm in the commons. Both parents and athletes should attend!
Edgewood High School will be hosting a Vaccine Clinic in partnership with the Monroe Country Public Health Clinic on October 29th. If you would like your child(ren) to participate, you must return the FORMS by October 15th.
Flash Fiction Writing Contest:   It’s time for the library’s Flash Fiction Writing Contest! If you’d like to know more about writing a very short story for this contest, see the table outside the library doors or ask Mrs. Van Allen. Entries are due no later than Friday, October 25, and there will be a party during Mustang Time on Halloween for ALL who enter the contest. Everyone will receive treats, and contest winners will receive prizes. Don’t miss it!
Haunted Museums Daily Trivia Question: Come into the library to answer the trivia question and get a treat. See Reggie by the American flag for each day’s trivia question.

STUDENT PARKING: Students park in the front parking lot. In order to drive to school students must fill out the PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION

You will then need to go to Mr. Latham in the front office with $1 and your driver’s license to get your parking permit. If you registered your vehicle previously, you do NOT need to get another permit.

 

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT/SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Students who would like to request to see their counselor should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email. Students may not request schedule changes based on teacher or period preference.
