Congratulations to Andrew Paul who defeated Bloomington South’s #1 Singles to move on in the state tournament individually! He won in a tough 3-set match. Congratulations to the boys tennis team on a great season!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Interested in joining Leadership Academy and planning the All Nighter for this spring? Leadership Academy is composed of student council members, SAAC members, and anyone else interested in joining. We will meet several times throughout the year to develop leadership skills and discuss the needs of Edgewood High School. Edgewood FFA Chapter will be hosting a car wash at Bender Lumber THIS SATURDAY from 9-noon. Donations only! Come out and support our chapter and leave with a fresh and clean car!

Mental Health Club will be hosting a fundraiser during all three lunches this week. The fundraiser is to raise awareness about suicide prevention in honor of former EHS student Evan Cantwell and other Mustang families who have been impacted by suicide. Proceeds will be donated to the Monroe County chapter of Mental Health America.
We’ll have both a student and staff winner. Tickets are $1 each and there is no entry limit. See our fliers around school for more info and find us in the Commons at lunch. We hope you’ll join us in acknowledging this important cause!

The boy’s lacrosse team has begun fall practices. They take place every Wednesday from 6:30-8pm on the soccer fields. New players are welcome and encouraged – need nothing but a pair of athletic shoes! Contact Coach Mary for more information at mellis@rbbschools.net.

Softball workouts will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school as long as the weather permits.  See Coach Hammett(room 133) if you have questions.

The Monroe County College Fair will take place Thursday, October 5 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Switchyard Park Pavilion in Bloomington.  See the email from Mr. Faust for more information.

Our fall vaccine clinic with the Monroe County Health Dept will be held on 10/5 at the school during school hours. All of the paperwork that will need to be filled out by parents PRIOR to their child getting vaccinated can be found HERE

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT/SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Students who would like to request to see their counselor should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email. Students may not request schedule changes based on teacher or period preference.
