INTERESTING FACTS

The first known prank was in 1698 in London, when individuals were fooled into going to the Tower of London to witness “lions being washed.” Over the centuries, this lighthearted tradition went global and developed into the contemporary celebration of harmless mischief.

Edgewood Junior High PTO Food Drive – March 24 – April 4
The EJHS PTO is hosting a food drive to support the Monroe County Community Kitchen Backpack Buddies program, which provides 2.5 tons of food each week to help 556 children in our community—including students in RBB schools. This program ensures that children in need have food to take home over the weekend, helping to bridge the gap when school meals are unavailable.

How to Participate:
• Drop off non-perishable food donations at the EJHS front office. Think items like granola bars, instant oatmeal, dried fruit, canned/pouch tuna or chicken, peanut butter etc.
• Incentive: For every five food items donated, students will receive a full-size candy bar of their choice as a thank-you!
Your support makes a difference in the lives of local children facing food insecurity. Thank you for helping us care for our community!
