ILEARN testing starts this week. This is a reminder to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive on time. Remember to bring your charged Chromebook, charger, and wired headphones to school. During ILEARN testing it is important to remember students cannot have other electronic devices with them. All cell phones, AirPods, and smartwatches will need to be housed in your locker during testing.
Parents & guardians, if you are able to readjust appointments this week to avoid the times between 7:30-10:30 am that will help your child stay on track. Otherwise, we will be pulling students out of class the following week for makeup testing.
There will be a meeting regarding the 2023 Washington DC Trip on Wednesday, May 17th at 6:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. Enter through door 16.
2023-2024 ATHLETIC PHYSICAL NIGHT

FinalForms
This last summer we partnered with Final Forms (see letter) to create a better system for handling athletic physicals and creating a student safety tool for our coaches, athletic trainers, and athletic administrators. For 2023-2024 all athletes will be required to have a Final Forms account. This replaces the need for you to fill out a physical on paper as the pre-physical checklist can be completed online with an autofill for information based on your responses. As well as all other required consent forms.
So what do I need to do before the EHS Physicals Night?
– If you HAVE Final Forms, you should sign in and update your information for your athlete.
– If you DO NOT have Final Forms, follow the Parent Playbook to set up your account.
Please have this completed before you come in for our EHS Physical Night on May 10th! Or whenever you have a completed physical for the 2023-2024 school year.
On May 19th from 4-6 pm, EJHS is hosting a powerlifting meet. The event is free, and all people in EJHS can join. Those who are interested in playing football or wrestling should attend, but the event is open to all students. There will also be at least two extra guest lifters, Mr. Sparks and Mr. Siegelin. Come on out and see who is the strongest!!!
Students if you’re not feeling well report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.
