Attention Robotics team members who are going to the Indianapolis Indians game tonight! We will meet at door 9 at 4:15 pm to board the bus. Dress as comfortably as possible for the expected 96-degree temperature. Bring a water bottle for the bus ride. The concession stands and souvenir shops are cashless. Our Dodge and Donate is still underway – make sure you are bringing in your donations. Even though our fundraising ends this week, we will collect money through next Friday, Sept 6th! Dodgeball brackets are being set and will be announced soon!
Dodge and Donate have started! Please bring your envelopes with your donations to your homeroom teachers! The highest fundraisers earn special privileges and prizes and the highest homerooms earn even more prizes and a bye in round 1 of the dodgeball tournament!

School Picture Proofs: This year we utilized Sheldon Pictures for our school directory and yearbook pictures. Picture proofs will be sent to the parent/guardian email on file. If you do not receive an email from Sheldon Pictures or have questions please visit their website at www.Sheldon.net and go to Support. Students should not be emailing Sheldon Pictures to see their pictures. Ask your parent or guardian to view them. Picture retakes will be on October 28th.

Horsepower: Horsepower is Edgewood Junior High School’s very own strength and conditioning club. It will be every Friday right after school until 4 pm unless otherwise notified.

Robotics Team: EJHS Robotics is gearing up for a great 2024 2025 season and we need you on our team! Anyone interested in robotics is invited to participate in any of our practices during August. We meet Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. in room 221. Pick-up is from door 9 at or before 4 p.m. We encourage our team members to play sports, play in the band, or do show choir. We happily work around those schedules. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Grimes or Mrs. Hanson.
ATHLETICS INFORMATION
Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire next school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athlete prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. Transportation Fees: Each student-athlete will be required to pay a $35 transportation fee for each sport in which he/she participates. Make payments on Eventlink HERE.

Event Tickets: We are cashless. We will have a card reader for bank and credit cards at the gate. Or you can pre-purchase tickets on Eventlink HERE.
- Gate Ticket Prices: $5 per person
- EJHS All Sports Season Passes: Each pass is good for admission to all home EJHS athletic events excluding County and WIC tournaments. Non-Transferable – Edgewood High School events are not covered by this pass.

Student Photographs, Videos, and/or Sound Recordings Opt-Out: Last year we moved to students having to OPT OUT of having their photo taken. This means all students are allowed to have their photo taken unless their parent/guardian fills out the attached form and brings it back to the office.

Have you had a rough start to your morning and forgot to brush your teeth or put on deodorant? From today on, if you find yourself in this situation you complete our Colts Care Closet form online and your EJHS Student Services providers will help you get those needs met. We have new hygiene products, new or gently used clothing, and more available for your personal use. You will find the link to the Colts Care form in your email, on the counselor sign-up form, and in your student bookmarks. Not Feeling Well: Students, if you’re not feeling well, report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.
