STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Track and Field Call Out: Preseason conditioning will start on Monday, February 26th from 2:45-4 pm. Conditioning practices will be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday till the official start of track season on Monday, March 18th. The Parent information meeting for the upcoming Track & Field season will be on Monday, March 4th at 3:30 pm in the Cafeteria.

Volleyball Call Out: Calling all current 6th & 7th graders interested in trying out for the school volleyball team next year! We will start open gyms on Friday, March 22nd right after school in the multipurpose gym until 5 pm. These are not required but are strongly recommended so you are ready for the season! Calendars and more information will be handed out at the first couple of open gyms!!

EHS Cheer Tryouts for Incoming Freshmen: Any student interested in trying out for the 2024 – 2025 Cheer Squad, please complete the Google form and we will send you all the information via email.  We will have a clinic beginning Monday, March 4th, and Wednesday, March 6^th  from 5:30 – 7:00.  Then on Thursday, March 7^th, the tryout will begin at 6:30.

ATHLETICS INFORMATION

Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athletes prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. Attention Students!

From today on, if you find yourself in this situation you complete our Colts Care Closet form online and your EJHS Student Services providers will help you get those needs met. We have new hygiene products, new or gently used clothing, and more available for your personal use. Pizza X POP Tabs: Love Pizza X? Love EJHS? Eat pizza from Pizza X and save the Proof-Of-Purchase (POP) tabs from the pizza boxes. Ask your friends and family to save them as well. Each Proof-Of-Purchase tab is worth 25 cents.

Not Feeling Well: Students if you’re not feeling well report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.

Chromebooks/Chargers: If you have any issues or damage to your Chromebook please see Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center. Due to the high demand and lack of supply, we will no longer be able to provide students with a loaner charger during school hours. See Ms. Edgeman if you need to purchase a new charger.
