February 8, 2024 - Edgewood Schools

February 8, 2024

RESULTS

Swim and Dive had their second meet of the season taking on Tri-North.  Both the Girls’ team and the Boys’ team came out ahead.  Girls won by a solid margin of 99-81 and the boys came down to the last relay where Gabe Tassi secured the winning point as the anchor for one of the 400 free relays winning 90-89. Edgewood had 9 first place wins but it was the depth of the team that won for the Colts.  Many swimmers were challenged with new events and still found success.

Notable swims for the girls Emmerson Kester, Katelyn Woodcock, and Addison Clark in the girls 400 Freestyle, Avi Grile in the 100 Free and Jillian Cowden in the 200 Free.

For the boys: Hudson Scholl, Anderson Schertzer, and Declan Panagapoulos in the 400 Free, Chris Zelhof-Arriaga in the 50 Free, and Ryder Colford in the 50 Fly.

The Colts take on Jackson Creek next Tuesday at the EHS pool.
