Last night the Edgewood 6th grade boys basketball teams took on Saint Charles at home. The B team battled hard, but ended up coming short. It was a complete team effort and they were in the game until the last play.
The A team battled hard and picked up the third victory this year. The team played with a lot of intensity to beat a very tough Saint Charles team. The momentum of the game changed when Zaeden Norris hit a full-court shot to end the third quarter. It was a great way. Hello, future Mustang families!
We are excited to host our annual Edgewood Baseball Winter Warm-up as our youth prepare for their 2024 baseball season!
We will host two sessions on Sunday, February 25th, and Sunday, March 3rd. Our younger group (grades 3, 4, and 5) will go from 1:00-2:45 with our older group (grades 6, 7, and 8) going from 3:00-5:15.
Campers will get two sessions of skills, drills, and games along with a camp t-shirt with the registration. The camp is led by our current Edgewood players and coaching staff from both EHS and EJHS. The cost is $50.

Students, just a reminder that you need to take your Chromebook home every day to charge it and bring it back the next day. If you have issues with your device, please see Ms. Edgeman in the Library. Also, stickers and gum wrappers are not allowed on the Chromebooks.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Art Club: will begin meeting again this Friday after school in room 216. We meet every other Friday until 3:30. If you have never attended, you can still join us. Along with fun art activities and challenges, we will also be helping the Theater Club create art for their performance this spring.

Edgewood Fishing Team: Call out for anyone wanting to join the Edgewood Fishing Team. We are accepting 7th grade to seniors. Will be participating in a Bass tournament and competing against other schools. There will be a meeting on 1/17/24 at 6pm at EHS in the cafeteria. ATHLETICS INFORMATION
Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athletes prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. Transportation Fees: Each student-athlete will be required to pay a $30 transportation fee for each sport in which he/she participates. Make payments on Eventlink. Under contact information, please enter your athlete’s name and the sport you are paying for. for example “John Doe – Cross Country.” If you are paying for more than one athlete, please purchase them separately.

Event Tickets: We are cashless. We will have a card reader for bank and credit cards at the gate. Or you can pre-purchase tickets on Eventlink HERE.

- EJHS All Sports Season Passes: Each pass is good for admission to all home EJHS athletic events excluding County and WIC tournaments. Non-Transferable – Edgewood High School events are not covered by this pass.

Not Feeling Well: Students if you’re not feeling well report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.

Chromebooks/Chargers: If you are a student and do not have a Chromebook, please visit Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center. Any issues, repairs, etc. also need to go to the Media Center. Due to the high demand and lack of supply, we will no longer be able to provide students with a loaner charger during school hours.
