EIS is trying to organize a Book Swap for their students.  In conjunction with that, January 19th is “Dolly Day”.  A “holiday” created by a 2nd grader that honors Dolly Parton.  Dolly is synonymous with early intervention to help with getting books into the hands of young children.  Her Imagination Library provides free books from birth to 5 years of age with funding from herself and local communities.  Totes are available in the lobby for students and staff to bring books to donate to EIS’s Book Swap.  These will be there until the end of the month.  Books are for students in grades 3-5 but lower grade level books are also welcomed.

Please join us and your EJHS Student Council on February 9 for the ‘Night in Paris’ winter dance (2:30-5 pm at EJHS)! We will have a DJ, dancing, and more in the gym and will be selling glow items, pizza, candy, and drinks in the cafeteria (ranging from $1-$3/each).

Pre-registration is open now – 2/6 and tickets will be sent home with the EJHS student designated at check-out in advance to allow for quicker dance entry (a perk of pre-registering)! Entry will be available at the door for $7. All proceeds go directly back to support EJHS students and teachers through your EJHS PTO; this event is open to EJHS students only!
