The Colts’ wrestling team defeated BNL Tuesday night with a score of 108-12. Winning for the Colts included
Noah Dobbs, Dylan Foster, John Orman, Noah Webb, Cameron Richardson, Micahl Andrews, Cayleb Stephens, Christian Stephens, Zander Pendley, Christian Fields, and Carter Hayden.
The 7th-grade girls’ basketball team played their final home game of the season last night. They faced the Monrovia Bulldogs and lost with a final score of 34-23. Scorers in the game were Rilynn Williams with 14 points, Leia Frye with 5 points, and Brylee Moore with 4 points. It’s been a fun season girls – let’s win county!
The 8th-grade girls’ basketball team defeated Monrovia last night 36-33. Macey Crider had 13 points, Madison Bland had 9 points, Allison Bland had 7 points, Addison Yearby had 3 points, and Reyanna Dryer and Lizzy Austin with 2 points each. Congratulations! Coach Sims would like to thank the student section for their support all season long!

The Athletic Department is now selling Edgewood socks for school spirit. See Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center to purchase your Edgewood socks in person today. There are two color options to choose from and two different sizes. All socks are $15.
Tryouts for this year’s EJHS baseball team will be held next Tuesday, March 8th, and Wednesday, March 9th, at 5 pm. Fill out this FORM to add your name to the tryout list. The location of tryouts will be announced closer to the tryout dates. You must have a physical on file in the office to participate.
Anyone interested in trying out for the EJHS Girls’ Softball team needs to check their email and fill out the Google form. Conditioning will be held from 2:30-3:45 today, and also next Tuesday, March 8th. Tryouts will be conducted the week following Spring Break on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 22nd and 23rd from 2:30-4:30 pm. You must have a current physical on file in the office to participate in conditioning and tryouts. Everyone who tries out must have completed the Google form.
