Edgewood Winter Guard is hosting a Guard & Dance Clinic on March 30th, 10:30-1:00 pm at the EJHS Gym. The cost is $20. The clinic is open to all students K-12. Students will learn a routine that involves both dance and flag skills with students in their age group. Click the link for the signup sheet.

Softball Call Out:  Anyone wanting to try out needs to fill out the online 2024 Softball FORM and attend tryouts March 6-7, 2:30-4 pm. See Coach Ayer or Coach Schooling with questions. Wear appropriate attire and bring gear.  Catcher gear is not necessary for day 1.

Volleyball Call Out: Calling all current 6th & 7th graders interested in trying out for the school volleyball team next year! We will start open gyms on Friday, March 22nd right after school in the multipurpose gym until 4 pm. These are not required but are strongly recommended so you are ready for the season! Calendars and more information will be handed out at the first couple of open gyms!!

EJHS Cheer Tryouts: Cheer tryouts for next fall will be held on March 25th, 28th, and 29th. Any current 5th, 6th, or 7th-grader interested in participating should fill out this Google Form. More information will be emailed once the Google form is filled out. If you are interested in participating but are unable to attend a certain day, please email edgewoodcoltscheer@yahoo.com.

EHS Cheer Tryouts for Incoming Freshmen: Any student interested in trying out for the 2024 – 2025 Cheer Squad, please complete the Google form and we will send you all the information via email.  We will have a clinic beginning Monday, March 4th, and Wednesday, March 6^th  from 5:30 – 7:00.  Then on Thursday, March 7^th, the tryout will begin at 6:30.

ATHLETICS INFORMATION

Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athletes prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. Attention Students!
Have you had a rough start to your morning and forgot to brush your teeth or put on deodorant? From today on, if you find yourself in this situation you complete our Colts Care Closet form online and your EJHS Student Services providers will help you get those needs met. We have new hygiene products, new or gently used clothing, and more available for your personal use. You will find the link to the Colts Care form in your email, on the counselor sign-up form, and in your student bookmarks. We look forward to providing this support to you and want to thank everyone who has donated to this cause!

Pizza X POP Tabs: Love Pizza X? Love EJHS? Eat pizza from Pizza X and save the Proof-Of-Purchase (POP) tabs from the pizza boxes. Ask your friends and family to save them as well. Each Proof-Of-Purchase tab is worth 25 cents.

Not Feeling Well: Students if you’re not feeling well report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.

Chromebooks/Chargers: If you have any issues or damage to your Chromebook please see Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center. Due to the high demand and lack of supply, we will no longer be able to provide students with a loaner charger during school hours. See Ms. Edgeman if you need to purchase a new charger.
