May 11, 2023

Students, a list of this year’s Superintendent’s Award candidates has been posted in the cafeteria and the Media Center windows. In order to receive this award, you must have no grade below an A- for each of the first three nine-week grading periods and the final 1st-semester grade.  Please check the list.  If you believe you should receive this award and your name is not listed, please see Mrs. Ashba in the office.

Attention! Do you have missing library books? We still have over 500 books checked out or missing! That’s $4,521 dollars in books that the library will lose if they aren’t returned. So look everywhere! 7 days left to get them in!

Do you want a chance to pie-face Mr. Siegelin, Mr. Pogue, or Mr. Gallagher? Here is your opportunity, so listen up:

Edgewood High School Girl Scout Troop #03652 will be in the gym and coming to homerooms next week on Monday 5/15 and Tuesday 5/16 to sell chances “two-for-a-dollar”, so bring cash! Simply write your first and last name on the back of the tickets and place them in the buckets for whom you want to pie-face. We will draw a ticket from each of the three buckets on Thursday 5/18 and notify the winners. Then, on Friday 5/19, everyone is invited to come to the gym before school to watch the three get pie-faced. Watching is FREE.

All proceeds will support our own EJHS Health Office.

The EJHS robotics team is seeking new members. If you think you might be interested, come check it out today or next week on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday. Robotics meetings are held in room 221 from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. Pick up is at door number 9. All are welcome!

Students if you’re not feeling well report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.
