Karson Krebbs pitched a great game to start the night off and hit 3 doubles to lead the team to a 5-2 victory.  Averi Krebbs led the charge for the B team, striking out 9, and winning with a score of 14-2.  Girls with hits on the night included Alainah Peter, Braylin Bentley, Karson Krebbs, Eden Norton, Baylee Clark, Laina Chandler, Morgan Morris, Khloee Wykoff hit a triple, and Story Heckman drove in 4 runs on two hits, including an in-the-park homerun!  The girls finished 14-9 on the season.  Great job girls!

The girls tennis team played their last match of the season against Lighthouse Christian Academy last night. GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Did you know that our school has checked out over 12,000 books this school year? We still have 458 books that have not been returned. That equals over $6,000 in fines if they are not returned. There are only 6 days left to turn your books in, so look in your locker, in your car, under your bed, look everywhere, and find your overdue books!

Yearbooks will be handed out on Monday, 5/20 during Homeroom. Extras will be available in the office. You should bring $25 (check or exact change) after dispersal if you want to buy one, but there is no guarantee any will be left by the time they get here (online presales were Jan-May).

All students interested in joining the EJHS Robotics Team are welcome to attend any or all practices this week. Practice will take place today – Friday from 2:30 pm to 4 pm in room 221. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Grimes or Mrs. Hanson.

A list of this year’s Superintendent’s Award recipients has been posted on green paper on the library doors and in the cafeteria.  To receive this award, you must have for the first three nine-week grading periods, no nine-week grade below an A- and can have no final first-semester grade below an A-.  If you believe you should receive this award, be sure to check this list.  If you are not on the list but think you should be, see Mrs. Ashba in the front office.

Please check the table outside the Guidance Office for lost items that might belong to you. Unclaimed items will be donated after the last day of school.

The last day for the Boys and Girls Club is Friday, May 17.
