GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
8th Grade Night at EHS will be held on Monday, Nov. 13th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. We will begin with a presentation in the Auditorium which will include information about high school scheduling, graduation requirements, etc. After the presentation, families will have the opportunity to ask teachers questions about their courses and visit displays about course offerings in the Commons; counselors and administrators will be available for questions. The presentation will be repeated to 8th graders during social studies classes at EJHS on Wednesday, Nov. 15th. However, students are encouraged to attend 8th Grade Night in order to visit the course displays; also, it’s helpful for students to hear the presentation more than once since we will share a lot of new information. High school counselors will meet with every 8th grader for an individual scheduling appointment at EJHS (Nov. 21st-Dec. 15th.), and parents are welcome to attend via Zoom or in person. Scheduling appointment dates/times will be posted on 8th Grade Night and at EJHS
Just a friendly reminder that the 8th grade eye exams will be held today. Students, if you wear glasses or contacts please remember to wear them that day.
Do you think your athletic skills are better than Coach Sparks’? Or that you are as smart as Mrs Karaffa? Do you have hidden musical or fun talents?
You will have a chance to prove your skills at the Student vs Teacher Game Show the day before Winter Break! If you are interested in besting your teachers and showing off your musical, athletic, artistic, or academic skills – please fill out the Google form and you will get more information.
