RESULTS
The cross country team finished their season with the WIC meet last night at home. The boys varsity took 4th and the girls varsity took 5th. Zaden Norris finished first overall, Noah Gallagher 3rd, and Matthew Rouker 19th. In the girls varsity race Josephine Buckley was 3rd, Payton Connelley 13th, and Keaton Connors 17th. In the girls’ JV race Lauren Martindale took 2nd, Katelyn Woodcock took 3rd, Charlotte Gargiulo 8, Katlyn Goodall 9, and Evie Warren 10. In the boys’ JV race Nico Babbs was 5th, Cody Bradford 7th, and Grey Hudson 8th. Great job to all runners on a great season!

Academic Super Bowl: The call-out meeting for Academic Super Bowl is after school on Tuesday, October 8th in Mr. Anspaugh’s room from 2:30 to 3:00.

Cuddly Colt Club: We’re bringing back the Cuddly Colt Club, featuring our amazing school therapy dog, Barley! The club will start after fall break and will include:
- Playtime with Barley: Enjoy some fun and cuddly moments with our furry friend!
- Pen Pals: Connect with other therapy dog teams and classrooms across the nation to share experiences and stories.
- Fun Activities: Participate in games, crafts, and more with Barley and your fellow club members!

Edgewood CrossFit: We will meet every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 – 4 pm in the EJHS weight room. Any students interested in joining must fill out the interest form sent via email. Daily attendance check-in will be required. Classes will be capped at 16 each day. For more information, visit Coach Randi or Mr. Sparks in the weight room.

Edgewood Wrestling Club PreK – 6th Grade Information: Edgewood Youth Wrestling is for all students through Grade 6 who are interested in wrestling. Practice for 6th grade students will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7-8 pm. Parent meeting and practice start dates are to be determined. Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athlete prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. FinalForms: All physicals are now completed through FinalForms. All athletes MUST be registered on FinalForms. Register HERE

Transportation Fees: Each student-athlete will be required to pay a $35 transportation fee for each sport in which he/she participates. Make payments on Eventlink HERE.

Event Tickets: We are cashless. We will have a card reader for bank and credit cards at the gate. Or you can pre-purchase tickets on Eventlink HERE.
- Gate Ticket Prices: $5 per person
- EJHS All Sports Season Passes: Each pass is good for admission to all home EJHS athletic events excluding County and WIC tournaments. Non-Transferable – Edgewood High School events are not covered by this pass.
COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

Attention Students!
Have you had a rough start to your morning and forgot to brush your teeth or put on deodorant? From today on, if you find yourself in this situation you complete our Colts Care Closet form online and your EJHS Student Services providers will help you get those needs met. We have new hygiene products, new or gently used clothing, and more available for your personal use. You will find the link to the Colts Care form in your email, on the counselor sign-up form, and in your student bookmarks. We look forward to providing this support to you and want to thank everyone who has donated to this cause!

Pizza X POP Tabs: Love Pizza X? Love EJHS? Eat pizza from Pizza X and save the Proof-Of-Purchase (POP) tabs from the pizza boxes. Ask your friends and family to save them as well. Each Proof-Of-Purchase tab is worth 25 cents.

Not Feeling Well: Students, if you’re not feeling well, report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.

Student Photographs, Videos, and/or Sound Recordings Opt-Out: Last year we moved to students having to OPT OUT of having their photo taken. This means all students are allowed to have their photo taken unless their parent/guardian fills out the attached form and brings it back to the office.

Chromebooks/Chargers: If you have any issues or damage to your Chromebook please see Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center. See Ms. Edgeman if you need to purchase a new charger.
