Edgewood Schools special education services strive to ensure all students are given the highest quality education which meets their individual academic, social, emotional, and functional needs. Our main goals are to provide our eligible students with their Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) through the identification of, and comprehensive services to students who meet eligibility categories set forth in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, (IDEA) and Indiana’s Special Education Rules (Article 7) and ensure that our students receive their education within the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)
