Attention all Homerooms! This week the EJHS Student Council is challenging Homerooms to a Door Decorating Contest! The theme is Spring and you have until Monday, March 29th, to decorate your Homeroom door into a beautiful masterpiece. For guidelines on what can and can’t be on doors, Homeroom teachers please check your emails. Each grade level will have a winner and the three winners will be awarded fabulous prizes! Good luck and may the best Homerooms win!
Congratulations to Edgewood Indoor Percussion for placing 4th at State Prelims this past weekend at Avon High School. This is the highest prelims placement for Edgewood Percussion since it began a few years ago. Great job to our EJHS members Connor Bayne and Ella Lucas. They will compete this coming weekend at State Finals at Ben Davis High School.

8th Grade Student Council will have a meeting today, March 22nd, from 2:30-3:00 in Room 121.
Academic Super Bowl Social Studies will meet this Thursday, March 25th, from 2:30-3:30 in Room 121.
Tryouts for current 6th and 7th-graders interested in joining the 2021-2022 EJHS Colts cheer squad will be held on April 7th, April 8th, and April 9th from 5-7 pm in the EJHS gym. Current 6th and 7th-graders who are interested in trying out must have a current physical or health history form on file in the office before trying out. Tryouts for next year’s 6th-grade squad will be held in the fall. Students should complete this GOOGLE FORM to sign-up (non-RBB accounts will not have access to the form).
Baseball tryouts will be conducted from 6-7:30 pm tonight and tomorrow. Any 6th, 7th or 8th-grader interested in trying out should report to the auxiliary field (by the tennis courts), weather permitting. If you still need to sign up for baseball tryouts, follow this link to register!
Interested in playing Volleyball for Edgewood next year? All current 6th & 7th graders are invited to volleyball open gyms every Friday starting March 26th at 2:30-5 pm. You can work on your techniques and learn to work as a team before tryouts even happen!! These aren’t required but are strongly encouraged to show the coaches what you’ve got! If you have any questions, see Coach Edgeman in the library or email her at eedgeman@rbbschools.net. You must have a current physical or health history form on file to participate.
Any 8th-grader interested in playing football at Edgewood High School next year is invited to weights/conditioning on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-4:30 pm. Please click Football Weights 2021 for additional information.
