Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are studying French, German, and Spanish are invited to apply for the opportunity to spend approximately 5 weeks abroad next summer– attending intensive classes, living with host families, and enjoying a variety of excursions and community-based activities. For summer 2025, we will have programs in France, Austria, and Spain.

Homecoming Week is NEXT WEEK! During Homecoming week, each class will be competing for who the best class is. There are many events such as Class Clash, a food drive, a coin collection, hall decorations, and dress up days to get points for your class. The Homecoming festivities will be as follows:

The Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday, September 28th from 8-10PM in the Commons. Freshmen and Sophomores buy their tickets from Mrs. Boisvert and Juniors and Seniors buy their tickets from Miss Brookman. Tickets will be on sale from 9/9-9/20 and will be $10. If you don’t buy a ticket in that timeframe then you can buy one at the door for $15. This dance is for Edgewood students only!
Also don’t forget to get to as many sporting events that week as possible to support your fellow classmates! Get ready for an amazing week!
The Shield 23 Foundation was founded in 2018 in honor of Russ Constantino, my father-in-law, who passed away from brain cancer. Our mission is to raise and gift money to firefighters who are diagnosed with job-related cancer. Since its inception in 2018, we have gifted nearly $120,000 to firefighters and their families in 6 different states. We are based out of the Chicagoland area, however our goal is to extend our reach into the southern Indiana region as well.
To do this, we have organized a golf scramble that’s taking place on September 28, 2024. There will be specialty hole prizes, a 50/50 raffle, as well as a silent auction for an assortment of items ranging from a 1-night stay for 2 at the French Lick Resort to baskets of goods from locally owned businesses! All money that we raise from this event will go directly to the families that we support during their time of need.
Player registration is open, and we encourage everyone to sign up through our website so that your spot is reserved! Your registration fee will cover your round of golf, a Shield 23 goodie bag, as well as a boxed lunch. Please scan the QR code on the flier, or access our website
shield23foundation.org. From there, click on the “events” tab to find the “Indiana Golf Scramble.” From there, you can sign up yourself as an individual, or if you have a team you can add your other players as well.
