GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKE: Friday, November 1

Friday during lunches, Michael Schnoll from the office of the Secretary of State will be set up in the commons to register any 17 and 18-year-olds to vote! Registering to vote is the first step in making your voice heard. If you’re not registered, you can’t vote—and that means missing out on your chance to shape the policies and leadership that affect you. Whether it’s local issues or national decisions, your vote has power. Registering ensures that when Election Day comes, you’re ready to make a difference. Don’t let someone else decide for you—get registered and be part of the change! Remember, democracy only works when we all participate!
Edgewood High School will be hosting a Vaccine Clinic in partnership with the Monroe Country Public Health Clinic on October 29th. If you would like your child(ren) to participate, you must return the FORMS by October 15th.
Flash Fiction Writing Contest:   It’s time for the library’s Flash Fiction Writing Contest! If you’d like to know more about writing a very short story for this contest, see the table outside the library doors or ask Mrs. Van Allen. Entries are due no later than Friday, October 25, and there will be a party during Mustang Time on Halloween for ALL who enter the contest. Everyone will receive treats, and contest winners will receive prizes. Don’t miss it!
Haunted Museums Daily Trivia Question: Come into the library to answer the trivia question and get a treat. See Reggie by the American flag for each day’s trivia question.

STUDENT PARKING: Students park in the front parking lot. In order to drive to school students must fill out the PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION

You will then need to go to Mr. Latham in the front office with $1 and your driver’s license to get your parking permit. If you registered your vehicle previously, you do NOT need to get another permit.
